Plant Traits CSV (3rd party data)
This is a description of the existing data. Access to the actual data is restricted (NVS Level 2 Access) as it is data obtained from a third party and we do not have permission to make public. You may request access to the dataset from the email link below. The structure of the file, including a dummy example record, is provided below.
Plant trait data largely drawn from Gaxiola (2006) except for DACCUP, GRILIT and SCHDIG (drawn from Forsyth et al. 2005) and NEOCOL (provided by Dr. Sarah Richardson). Sampled leaves were sun leaves from trees > 4 m height and from shrubs > 1.5 m height sampled from both alluvial and marine terraces at Waitutu forest. Measurements correspond to current-year, previous-year leaves, older leaves (typically 3-year old leaves but very occasionally older) and senescent leaves just prior to abscission. Values presented are mean trait values, with the number of underlying samples given by 'n'.
