What's new in DataStore

DataStore 2.1.1 - 14 October 2026

DataStore now runs on CKAN 2.12, the current version of the platform behind it.

  • You will need to log in again the first time you visit. Log in with your network username as before; your email address also works now.
  • Table previews on resource pages have a new look. You can still search, sort and filter the data, and download the rows you have filtered, and the preview no longer goes blank when you come back to a page.
  • Error messages on the dataset and resource forms are clearer about which fields need attention, and how to get to them.
  • The tabs on the Statistics page work again.
  • Download counts now only count downloads made from the website, so they are a better guide to real use.
  • Wording across the site is consistent NZ English.
  • The version in the page footer links to this page.

Your datasets, resources and files are unchanged.
